M -- OPERATION OF JOB CORPS CENTER SOL RFP NO. 95-RIV-JC-001. DUE 033195. POC Parnell Fruge, Contract Specialist or Melvin Collins, Contracting Officer, at 404/347-3178. Request for proposals for the continued operation of the Gadsden Job Corps Center located in Gadsden, Alabama will be available approximately February 7, 1995, for issue in response to written request. The contractor shall provide Academic and Vocational Training, operate a Counseling and Residential Living Program, and operate the following support services: Health Services, Processing of Student Records, Discipline System, Clothing Issue, Mail Services and Legal Services. The contractor shall provide overall Ceter Management and Administraton as follows: Contract and Personnel Administration, Staff Training, Financial Management, Procurement and Property Management, Facilitu Operations and Maintenance, Security and Safety Services, Community Relations and Public Informaton. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period September 1, 1995 through August 31, 1997, plus 3 governmental unilateral renewal options of one year. The approximate average capacity strength is 286 students (128 residential males, 15 nonresidential males, 128 residential females, and 15 nonresidential females). The contractor shall also provide direct outreach services for a total of 413 students (207 males and 206 females) plus direct placement for 320 students. A pre-Proposal Conference and site visit of the facility will be conducted at Gadsden Job Corps Center on February 14, 1995, 9:00 a.m., local time. All quesions prior to the Pre-Proposal Conference should be submitted in writing. Interesteed offerors should limit their attendance to no more than three persons. Upon entering the facility for the site visit, tour participants must report and register at the Job Corps Center's Administration Building. Requests for this solicitation should include (2) self-addressed mailing labels. Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 2:00 p.m., local time on march 31, 1995 to the address in item 7 above.
