Electronics Command (CECOM), in support of PM/PALADIN, is issuing a
source selection solicitation for the procurement of NSN:
5855-01-235-5489, AN/VVS-2(V)4 Driver's Night Vision Viewer, P/N:
5005820-1, Rev. B, 385 each; and the following spare parts: Housing,
Assembly Prism, P/N: 5005814-2, 100 each; Cover, Protective Prism, P/N
5005813, 100 each; Mounting Gasket, P/N: 5008482, 200 each; Mount
Asembly, P/N: 5005816, 50 each; and Mount Assembly Housing, P/N:
5005815, 50 each. A 100% option for all items is included. The
evaluation factors for award will be based on technical approach and
price. Multiple delivery locations. All potential offerors must submit
a proposal in response to the solicitation to be considered for this
procurement. The data is provided solely for informational purposes and
should not be relied upon as a basis for the preparation of an offer.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered
by the Agency. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM)
has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide
electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFP's). As of 1
January 1995, hard copies of solicitations will no longer be
distributed. (Exceptions are Post, Camp and Station acquisitions.) All
interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to
access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system. To
become a user of the EBB you will need an identification code and
password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary
hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. Detailed
information regarding system requirements is contained in the U.S. Army
CECOM EBB User's Manual. A User's Manual, Identification Code and
password will be issued upon request. All requests must include 1)
Company name, 2) point(s) of contact name(s) and title(s), 3) return
address(es) and 4) telephone number(s). Please send your request in
