Scope of work for base contract and Options number 1 and 2 is as follows: Base contract work includes but is not limited to providing all labor and materials required to remove approximately 50,000 square feet of existing roofing, aggregate, and rigid insulation down to bare concrete deck. Patch damaged deck and install new three (3) ply built-up roof system. Masonry parapet and penthouse walls are to be repaired or replaced as required and new flashing installed. Option number 1 includes but is not limited to upgrading and repairing building stairwells. Option number 2 includes but is not limited to replacing the existing asphalt paved surface and membrane with all necessary flashing in the building lightcourt. The Government reserves the right to exercise Options number 1 & 2 at any time up to 120 calendar days from the receipts of the Notice to Proceed. The completion time for this project is 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project is set aside for small business concerns. The small business size standard for this project is $17 million. This project is also a labor surplus area set aside. Specifications will be available on or about January 23, 1995.
