The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1521 - General Contractors - Single Family Houses. The size standard is $17 million. The work includes, but is not limited to, selective interior repairs to two duplex housing units on Porter Road (Quarters 5/6, 7/8), selective exterior and interior repairs to two duplex housing units on Upshur Road (Quarters 29/30, 33/34), and selective exterior repairs to nine duplex units on Upshur and Rodgers Roads (Quarters 31/32, 35/36, 37/38, 39/40, 41/42, 43/44, 45/46, 47/48). Interior repairs include plaster repair and replacement, upgrading of bathrooms and kitchens, repainting of all painted surfaces, repair and upgrading of all floor surfaces, and replacement of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. Exterior repairs include roofing repairs and replacements, repairs and replacements to wooden architectural trim and porch elements, selective brick and stone repair, exterior electrical work on porches and incidental related work. The overall project schedule shall be completed in phases. The Pre-Proposal Conference has been scheduled for 24 JANUARY 1995 at 10:00 AM. This is a negotiated procurement with the following technical evaluation factors: Schedule Management and Control; Corporate Management; Technical Methodology; Relevant Experience; Past Performance; and Project Management Plan. Requests for plans and specifications must be submitted in writing. Requests may be mailed to the above address, Attn: Plans and Specs Office, or requests may be sent via facisimile using fax # (202) 433-0939. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at the Plans and Specs Office, Bldg 212, 1st Floor, Washington Navy Yard. The hours of operation are 7:30 to 3:00, Monday through Friday. There will only be no charge for the documents, however, there will only be one set issued per contractor. Requests for plans and specs and bidders lists should be had separately. Please note, plans and specs will be issued on a ''first-come, first-serve'' basis. The date of issuance is 05 January 1995. The date for receipt of proposals is 06 February 1995. This is a source selection, negotiated procurement and there will be no public opening; no information will be disclosed until after award. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. (0003)
