The Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration is
soliciting proposals for a health care management and support contract.
The purpose of this contract will be to assist the Department in
fulfilling its planning, management, and oversight responsibility for
the Job Corps Health Support Program. Toward this end, the contractor
shall perform the following tasks: (1) review and recommend disposition
of Job Corps applicants with potential health problems; (2) provide for
the monitoring, technical assistance, and evaluation of center regional
and conservation agency health programs; (3) provide technica training
and logistical support to enhance efficient and effective delivery of
Job Corps health education and services; (4) maintain and operate the
Job Corps Health Management System; (5) assist in the management,
development, implementation and evaluation of health standards,
guidelines, policies, and procedures, and (6) conduct special projects
as specified. The period of performance for this contract shall be
twelve (12) months from the date of execution of award documents with
two 1-year options. Requests for proposals (RFP) will be available upon
written request only, approximately 15 days after date of publication
on a first come, first serve basis, while the supply lasts. Telephone
requests will not be honored. For requests made after the supply is
exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a
fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of
duplication of the solicitation document. Closing date for receipt of
proposals will be March 20, 1995 at 2:00 p.m., local time. Requests
must cite RFP-DAA-95-08(8a) and must include (2) self-addressed, gummed
labels. Failure to enclose labels may cause delay in receipt of
solicitation. This is a 100% small business set-aside. See Numbered
