- This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, to conduct market research and identify capable sources for providing for a Centrifugal Disc Finishing Machine, Closed Loop Wastewater Treatment System, and Manual Mobile Separation Unit. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement addressing their capabilities, capacity, place of manufacture, and location which shall be considered by the agency. � Responses are voluntary and will be used to� determine� the� appropriate acquisition� strategy. This notice is posted as UNRESTRICTED and is intended to gauge the entire marketplace. � This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. � Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: Capability statement addressing ALL salient characteristics Company name, address, point of contact, phone and email� SAM.gov UEI number and NAICS applicability Business size (Large, Small, VOSB, SDVOSB, etc.) Place of manufacture for all supplied equipment Identify applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates the firm s ability to meet the above requirement An authorized distributor letter if the interested party is not the manufacturer Evidence of previous installations or relevant experience Estimated delivery timeframe Any proprietary component constraints Specific Tasks Development of polishing recipes for multiple polymer and metal parts including media and rinse compounds, polishing process parameters. (rpm, duration, dosing, etc.) One day onsite installation of equipment One year parts manufacture warranty Salient required characteristics Centrifugal Disc Finishing Machine Purchase Centrifugal Disc Finishing Machine Physical Capacity: 60 liters or greater Overall Machine Dimensions: 46 L x 45 D x 74 H or less Weight: 600 lbs. or less Electrical Power: 220 - 240V/3 Phase, 20 AMPS Functional Powered Bowl tilt mechanism for material changing All wear components (bowl rings) field replaceable Variable speed bowl Rinse compound dosing pump included Operator control of process time, auto-reverse timer settings, rpm adjustment, rinse system interval and pulse length, and dosing pump on/off control Manufacture provided recipe for PA12 and 316L stainless steel parts Jog operation for part removal Sludge Weir tank Bowl covers Closed Loop Waste Water Treatment System Overall Machine Dimensions: 60 x 36 x 63 H or less Weight: 300 lbs. or less Capacity: 120 gallon or equivalent Centrifugal pump which circulates effluent creating a high velocity mixing action and treatment flocculent powder. Treated water drained and pumped back to disk finisher. Filter paper roll which filters out precipitated material from effluent. Water Feed system filters drain water, ozonates it to prevent bacterial growth. Centrifuge separator system to quickly reduce sludge volume and water content. Mobile Manual Separation Unit, Manual Lift Manual hand crank operated lift for moving material in and out of machine and sieving parts from media All responses shall be submitted no later than Friday, 08/31/2026, by 08:00 AM EST.
