- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Human Foods Program (HFP), Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science (OLOAS), requires weekly delivery of dry ice to support laboratory testing, scientific research, regulatory activities, and other mission-critical laboratory operations across multiple HFP offices. See details of requirements in RFQ and Attachment 1 (PWS). ****************************************************************************** Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment 0001 to RFQ is: 1. Amend RFQ Section 7: Correct Questions Due: From: June 18, 2026 at 10 AM EST To: August 12, 2026 at 3 PM EST No further questions will be answered after the deadline. An amendment to the RFQ will be issued to provide the Government responses to the questions. Except as amended herein, all terms and conditions of solicitation RFQ-FDA-134493 remain unchanged and in full force and effect. Secondary point of contact added Contract Specialist: Aarati Singal; Email: aarati.singal@fda.hhs.gov, please copy Contract Specialist (CS) and CO in any questions/offers submitted in response to this RFQ. ***************************************************************************** Amendment 0002: Cancellation of Solicitation Solicitation No.: RFQ-FDA-134493 Effective Date: August 21, 2026 Issued By: U.S. Food and Drug Administration � Contracting Officer: Name: Sarah Hussain Email: sarah.hussain@fda.hhs.gov Phone: 301-796-3940 Section 1: Description The purpose of Amendment 0002 to RFQ-FDA-134493 is to cancel the solicitation in its entirety, effective immediately. No further quotations will be solicited, accepted, or evaluated under this solicitation number, and no award will be made under RFQ-FDA-134493. Section 2: Basis for Cancellation The Government has determined that cancellation of this solicitation is appropriate for two reasons: (1) the requirement, as written, requires further internal review and revision before it can be competed; and (2) proceeding to award under the solicitation as currently written would not be in the Government's best interest. This cancellation is issued under the Government's right, reserved at RFO 52.212-1(d), Instructions to Offerors�Commercial Products and Commercial Services, to reject any or all offers when such action is in the public interest. No purchase order or contract has been awarded or accepted under this solicitation. Section 3: Effect on Offerors Any quotations already submitted in response to RFQ-FDA-134493 will not be evaluated and will not result in award. No further action by offerors is required. Offerors will not be charged any fee or penalty as a result of this cancellation, and the Government assumes no liability for costs incurred by offerors in preparing or submitting quotations. Except as cancelled herein, this notice supersedes RFQ-FDA-134493 and Amendment 0001 in their entirety. No further amendments, questions and answers, or solicitation actions will be issued under solicitation number RFQ-FDA-134493.
