NO SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES.� PROCUREMENT TITLE:� Richard Wolf Pirahna Laser Enucleation System with Morcellator INTENT TO AWARD:� The Department of Veterans Affairs (NCO 19), 6162 S. Willow Drive, Greenwood Village, CO 80111, intends to award one (1)� purchase� order� on a� sole� source basis, to� Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation for a Piranha Laser Enucleation System with Morcellator.� BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION:� The� VHA Salt Lake City Medical Center (VHASLCMC),� � located� at� 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City,� UT� 84148 is purchasing Richard Wolf Piranha Laser Enucleation System with Morcellator. This unit will be used in laser enucleation of the prostate treatment for benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. The system includes laser resectoscope, offset Piranha scope and a tissue morcellator. NAICS:� 339112� � Surgical� and Medical Equipment Manufacturer,� 1,000 employees� PSC:� 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. AUTHORITY:� This procurement will be issued under the authority of� RFO� Part� 12� � Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.� INTERESTED PARTIES:� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.� � Interested parties may� identify� their interest and capability to respond to this requirement� as described in the attached Statement of Work� no later than� 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time,� Wednesday,� August� 26th, 2026.� � Information received in response to this notice must clearly� demonstrate� the capability of meeting the Government s need as� stated� above.� � Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice.
