- DESCIPTION: THIS NOTICE IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. The RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute as a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Responses will be treated as information only and will not be evaluated as a proposal. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes. A return response from the government regarding RFI submissions is not guaranteed. The RFI respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation from future announcements or contracts. Respondents should indicate which portions of their response are propriety and should mark accordingly. BACKGROUND: The Government has a requirement for a ruggedized, conduction-cooled, half-rack server system designed for data recording and processing in harsh environments. The half-rack server system needs to have the following characteristics: System Overview: The quoted system is a rugged, conduction-cooled server designed for harsh environments, featuring a removable data storage system and a high-performance GPGPU. Key Components and Specifications: Rugged Half Rack Server: Operating System: Linux Power: 16-40V DC nominal (isolated) GPGPU: NVIDIA Blackwell NVB2000 with 8GB GDDR6 memory Operating Temperature: -40�C to +60�C Interfaces: 5x Ethernet (10/100/1000base-T) 3x USB 1x VGA Removable Data Module: Capacity: 1920GB (composed of 4x 480GB drives in a RAID0 configuration) Performance: 800MB/s sustained write speed Durability: Industrial Grade MLC, Conformal Coating Operating Temperature: -40�C to +71�C NAS Docking System: Processor: Intel Xeon-D processor optimized for NAS operations Interfaces: 2x 10Gbase-T Ethernet 4x USB ports 1x VGA 1x RDM Docking Bay for data transfer Accessories: The quote also includes various cables for power, control, and Ethernet, which are noted as being suitable for lab use rather than rugged deployment.
