- Description
- The procurement is for one Solar Powered Wedge Traffic Barrier System, including: Minimum 20-ft clear opening for large vehicles. Solar-powered battery system with continuous and backup power (no charging downtime). Solar charge controller, external pole mounts, and traffic warning light. ASTM M30-rated crash panel. Galvanized carbon steel construction capable of high-desert environmental exposure. Portable system, weight not exceeding 7.5 tons; surface-mount placement (no ground-anchoring). Yellow/white high-visibility finish. Hinged crash plate, integrated controls, and operability verification. Delivery, installation materials, setup labor, familiarization training, and testing at Camp Roberts. Delivery NTE 120 days, installation/testing NTE 60 days from award. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 532490. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations, and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. All information received from this notice shall be used for planning and market research purposes only. The determination to refrain from competing for this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the evaluation of the information received. Interested parties may express interest and/or provide a capability statement no later than 10 August by 9am PST, Arizona time.
