Description
VA responses to additional received RFIs, responses in RED: Please confirm whether the two Vulcan CHEF-102G ovens must be configured for natural gas or LP gas. Natural gas, the facility does not utilize LP. The pricing schedule identifies installation kits, hollow-carbon filters, water-treatment systems, and water-softening systems, but does not provide manufacturer names or part/model numbers. May offerors propose Vulcan-approved compatible accessories and provide the specific manufacturer/model information in the quotation? Yes, already provided in previous amendments posted to sam.gov. The solicitation states Installation: N/A, and CLIN 0004 says the water-treatment equipment will be field-installed by others. Please confirm the contractor is responsible only for furnishing and delivering all five line items, with no onsite installation labor included. The installation is being taken care of by the subcontractor of the construction project. It s a minor addition to the medical center. The oven description includes a no-charge four-hour Vulcan Certified Chef training program. Please identify the required training location and anticipated timing, because the equipment delivery location is BOVA Corporation rather than the Louis A. Johnson VAMC. Training to take place at Louis A Johnson VAMC, I can only estimate the timeframe as the installation is tied to the construction project. Estimate Spring of 2027. I have an end date of May 2027 currently. Please confirm whether all equipment and accessories must be delivered together to BOVA Corporation by September 30, 2026. Yes, as the installation will occur before completion of the construction project. The evaluation factors are technical, past performance, and price. Is there a minimum number, recency period, or prescribed format for past-performance references? No, its comparative analysis. Please clarify the required form and content of the distributor letter. Must it be issued specifically for Kcamow and this RFQ, and is there a maximum age for the letter? Prefer that its recent i.e. within the last two years, do not need to reference RFQ and yes to the prime contractor must be listed as a distributor. Because the solicitation is an SDVOSB supply set-aside and includes VAAR 852.219-76, please confirm whether the nonmanufacturer rule applies and whether an SBA class or individual waiver is applicable to these commercial combi ovens and accessories. SBA class waiver applies. Specifically, must the offered products be manufactured by a small-business manufacturer? There is no need for the equipment to be manufactured by a small.
