- 1. This RFI is issued solely to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. It is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any potential future RFQ. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor GSA for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research, a continuous process for collecting and analyzing information about capabilities within the market to satisfy agency needs. The acquisition strategy has not yet been determined, and market research results will assist in determining the direction this acquisition may take. 2. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, & EDWOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Responses are requested from all business sizes. 3. This RFI is for Cabling and IT bench stock items for 9 STS at Schriever SFB, CO. Please see the attached parts list for items and quantities required. Multiple items on the product list are required to be purchased by Brand Name. 4. Please respond to this RFI with a statement of interest and capability to fulfill all stated requirements in the attached product list.
