Description

1. ACTION: This is a Pre-solicitation Notice of the Government�s intent to issue a solicitation for the procurement of furniture. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. 2. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: NAVSTA Rota, Spain � Housing Department has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of the following items: (275) 2000-watt and (10) 1000-watt step-up & down transformers. 3. DELIVERY ADDRESS: The Contractor shall provide 2000-watt and 1000-watt step-up & down transformers on a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) basis and shall be responsible for all delivery logistics to the specified location designated by the Housing Dept. at NAVSTA Rota. 4. DELIVERY DATE: 45 days from the Date of Award 5. INTENDED ACQUISITION STRATEGY: This requirement is for a commercial product and falls below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). In accordance with Revolutionary Far Overhaul (RFO) Part 12, ""Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services,"" Clause 12.201-1(c)(2) �Simplified Procedures�, the Government intends to solicit quotes directly from a limited number of sources (at least three). The Government does not intend to issue a separate, public solicitation for this specific requirement. No formal solicitation document is available at this time. 6. Any information received within five (5) working days after the posting date of this notice will be retained as market research for any future similar requirement.
