- THIS IS AN ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (EDWOSB) SET-ASIDE - ONLY QUOTES FROM EDWOSB WILL BE ACCEPTED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number: 1240BE26Q0088 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Project: US Forest Service, International Institute of Tropical Forestry (IITF) Janitorial Services This acquisition is an Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720 Janitorial Services The small business size standard is $ 22 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation to be considered by the agency. Award Type: It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order will be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. Statement of Requirement: Provide janitorial services for five (5) buildings on the IITF complex: Headquarters, Library, Conference Center, Remote Sensing laboratory (known as the GIS building) and the multi-purpose building. All work shall be performed in accordance with all applicable codes, and standards. See Attachment 3, Performance Work Statements (PWS) for further information. Schedule of Items See Attachment 2 - Schedule of Items. Complete the Schedule of Items with quoter�s business information and pricing. Unit of Issue: Month = MO Location: All work shall be performed at the International Institute of Tropical Forestry Headquarters Complex, located at Botanical Gardens South, 1201 Calle Ceiba, San Juan, Puerto Rico, 00926 County: San Juan Estimated Start Work Date: August 16, 2026 Period of Performance: Base Year: August 16, 2026, through August 15, 2027, plus four (4) Option Years.
