- Amendment 0002: The response to Question 5 in the ""Questions and answers 2 Updated"" document has been changed see below: Question 5: Does the scope require the contractor to move desks, office furniture, equipment, or personal items before cleaning the carpeted areas? If so, please identify the expected extent of furniture moving. Government Response: The contractor is responsible for moving and resetting light furniture necessary to perform the cleaning. This includes items such as rolling office chairs, small tables, and trash receptacles. The moving of heavy furniture, including but not limited to desks, modular workstations, filing cabinets, conference tables, and safes, is explicitly excluded from the scope of work. Offerors must review the following key changes and incorporate them into their final quotation packages: Quantity Adjustment (Tile Wall Cleaning): The estimated quantity for Tile and Grout Wall Cleaning (PWS CLIN 0003) is officially increased from 3,046 SF to 3,146 SF to reflect recent field-verified dimensions. Offerors must adjust their pricing calculations in their supporting cost breakdowns to account for this additional 100 SF. Performance Work Statement (PWS) Revision: The finalized Performance Work Statement, dated 16 July 2026 , is attached hereto and supersedes all previous versions. Offerors must perform all work in strict accordance with this revised scope. Publication of Q&A (Set 2): The official ""Questions and Answers - Set 2"" document has been published and is attached for industry review. These responses clarify administrative, technical, and labor compliance requirements. Cancellation of Site Visit & Price Firmness: Due to operational and mission constraints inside the occupied 96 MXG facility, no Government-facilitated site visit will be offered or conducted for this requirement. Notice to Offerors: Offerors must rely on the detailed square-footage dimensions, quantities, and layout specifications provided in the revised PWS. Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Parameters: Under the FFP contract type, the successfully awarded price is firm and not subject to post-award adjustment. No price increases or requests for equitable adjustment will be entertained or authorized based on site conditions that could have been reasonably anticipated from the provided PWS specifications. End Summary The Department of the Air Force, AFMC AFTC/PZIOA at Eglin AFB, FL, is soliciting quotes for a one-time commercial floor and restroom deep cleaning service for Building 100. This competitive acquisition is being conducted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 (Commercial Acquisitions). Scope of Work The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to perform a comprehensive deep clean of designated facility areas within a 30-day Period of Performance (PoP). The primary tasks include: Carpet Cleaning: Deep hot-water extraction of approximately 7,409 Square Feet (SF) of commercial carpet. Tile & Grout Floor Scrubbing: Deep cleaning and sanitization (no seal) of approximately 4,642 SF of tiled restrooms and hallways.
