- NOTICE TO OFFERORS/SOLICITATION Project Description: Lyndon B. Johnson (LYJO) Reroof Historic Barns & Settlement Cabin, structural repairs and Boyhood Barn, and Smokehouse A. Project Location: Johnson Boyhood Home (Barn and Smokehouse), 200 East Elm Street, Johnson City, Texas 87836 B. Second Project Location: Johnson Settlement (Bruckner Barn, Cooler House and Bid Option 01 - Settlement Cabin), 100 Lady Bird Lane Ste 329, Johnson City, TX 78636 C. The Work consists of the following: 1. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Removal of wood shingles, repair to wood joists, wood purlins and reinstallation of new Synthetic shake/shingle roofs at the Bruckner Barn and Stubbs Cooler Building (Stubbs Well House), the barn and smoke house at the Boyhood Home Unit. b. Remove and reinstallation of lightning protection on Bruckner Barn, Polk Barn, and Stubbs Cooler House (Stubbs Well House) and the Boyhood Home� Barn c. Add lightning protection to the Smokehouse at the Boyhood Home d. Bid Option 01: Removal of wood shingles, repair/replace wood purlins and installation of new Synthetic shake/shingle roofs at Settlement Cabin. e. Bid Option 02: Remove and reinstallation of lightning protection on Settlement Cabin roof. Location: Lyndon B. Johnson (LYJO) National Historic Park 100 Ladybird Lane Johnson City, TX 78636 (Blanco County) Instruction to Offerors: Before submitting a proposal or any questions regarding the solicitation, please be sure to read the entire solicitation package carefully. Submit your proposal and questions via email to the contracting officer. Mailed/hard copy proposals will not be accepted. Return the following items with your response: Official Proposal Acknowledgment of any/all Amendments to Solicitation Interested contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management, www.sam.gov) and complete online representations and certifications before the solicitation response due date.
