Vehicle Information � Make/Model: 2026 Chevrolet 3500 HD � Configuration: Single Rear Wheel � Current Condition: Equipped with factory?installed OEM pickup bed and back up camera on factory installed bed � VIN: 1GC4KSEY1TF291258 2. Contractor Responsibilities The contractor shall perform the following: A. Removal of Factory Bed � Safely disconnect all electrical, back up camera, sensors, fuel filler, and auxiliary connections tied to the OEM pickup bed. � Remove factory bed without damage to the truck frame, chassis wiring, or components. � Inspect and clean mounting points on the frame after bed removal. B. Preparation for Upfit � Verify chassis measurements and mounting compatibility for CM model 8'6/84/54/42. � Ensure all wiring harnesses, lighting connectors, and fuel filler components are positioned for proper integration with the new bed. � Provide any necessary mounting hardware if not included by the manufacturer. C. Installation of CM Truck Bed (Model 8'6/84/54/42) � Properly mount and secure the CM bed to manufacturer specifications and torque requirements. � Align and install fuel filler neck, rear lighting, license plate lighting, and reverse sensors (if applicable). � Connect and test all electrical systems including brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, and marker lights. � Ensure the bed sits level, securely fastened, and free of vibration or interference with vehicle components. D. Quality Check and Testing � Perform full inspection confirming structural security, proper alignment, and correct electrical function. � Test vehicle lighting and safety systems to ensure compliance with DOT requirements. � Verify proper clearance between bed, tires, frame, and suspension components. 3. Deliverables � Completed removal of OEM bed � Fully installed CM Truck Bed (Model 8'6/84/54/42) � Documentation of all work performed 4. Schedule � Work to begin on: 8/1/26 � Estimated completion: 8-12 weeks 5. Acceptance Criteria The installation will be considered complete when: � CM bed is mounted to manufacturer specifications � All electrical and safety systems function correctly � No fault codes or warning indicators are present � Vehicle passes final inspection by the government/agency representative 6. Additional Requirements � Contractor must follow all safety protocols and industry standards. � Any changes, unexpected issues, or additional parts required must be approved before proceeding.
