- This Sources Sought Notice is not a Request for Quote and does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Government is currently conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify potential sources to fulfill the requirement and gather information on current capabilities of businesses within the market. All information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Proprietary information submitted should be marked appropriately. All submitted information must remain with the U.S. Government and will not be returned. The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract with a period of performance of 270 days from date of award. This requirement is to provide heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) replacement and installation of new control systems at the National Weather Service (NWS), Pacific Region (PR), Weather Service Office (WSO) in Yap in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). See SOW for additional information. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is $19 Million. This Sources Sought Notice will not have Questions & Answers pertaining to the specific requirement. Interested vendors must respond to this Sources Sought Notice (this Google Form) no later than Monday, July 6, 2026 at 2:00PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), and must be registered in SAM.gov to be eligible for award of a Government contract.
