- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 123A94Q0018 is issued as a Request for Quotations for preventative maintenance and repairs on one (1) Thermo Q Exacitve Focus and three (3) Thermo Q Exactive Basic instruments. The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), a public health regulatory agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), protects consumers by ensuring meat, poultry, catfish, and egg products are safe, wholesome, and accurately labeled. The objective of this requirement is to ensure the continuous operational readiness of critical analytical systems used in food safety testing. The contractor shall provide all labor, travel, and materials including Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts to maintain the systems identified in the Statement of Work (SOW). This acquisition?is not set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 811210 Electronic and Precisions Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard is $34M. This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
