- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: (THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE) Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) intends to sole source this Virtual Joint Environment for Tactical Training Systems (VJETTS) furniture purchase action (Phase 2) to Kimball International (CAGE: 4V077), which is the OEM of the existing furniture system that our command currently has. IAW the attached Statement of Work, it is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning to provide new system furniture in the DeFlorez Complex, and incidental related work, complete and ready for use, at the NAWCTSD, 12221 Science Drive, Orlando, FL 32826-3224. This purchase shall be made under FAR Part 8 and 13 procedures; FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Other than full and open competition applies. The circumstances of this contract action deem only one single source is reasonably available. Any responses are due to Peyten Maki, peyten.m.maki.civ@us.navy.mil, or 407-380-8514. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing information describing their ability to provide the product listed above. A determination by the Government to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this notice is 12 June 2026 at 1200 noon (EST).
