- Sources Sought Number: W9127N26QA078 Subject: Sources Sought for 150kW Diesel Generator Set PSC:6115 - GENERATORS AND GENERATOR SETS, ELECTRICAL NAICS: 335312 - Motor and Generator Manufacturing: 1250 employees General. This Sources Sought is issued for informational and market research purposes only. It is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or a solicitation under FAR Subpart 5.2. This Sources Sought has a related notice in GSA for an RFI/RFQ under Request ID: RFQ1809521. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to obtain information regarding industry interest, capabilities, and qualifications so the Government can make informed acquisition decisions. We encourage responses from both large and small businesses, including Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a) firms, HUBZone firms, Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB). All interested parties are strongly encouraged to respond. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to support market research, assess available sources, and inform any future solicitation. Please provide a capability statement demonstrating your ability to supply the requirement identified in the Product Description (PD). If you are unable to supply all of the listed items, please clearly identify any limitations in your capability statement. This will help us accurately assess your qualifications for the full requirement. Formal Sources Sought Response Due: 18 May 2026 at 10:00 PM PDT. Project Background: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requires a new, reliable backup power source for the Cougar Adult Fish Collection Facility, located at the Cougar Dam. The existing infrastructure necessitates the procurement of a new diesel generator set to ensure continuity of operations during primary power failures. This PD list the requirements for the equipment and all associated service. Please read the Product Description in its entirety to ensure a complete understanding of the requirement before responding to this Sources Sought.
