- SBP Partial Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)
- Description
- Request for Proposal (RFP) for Superfund Analytical Methods (SFAM): Contract Laboratory Program (CLP) utilizing FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation procedures, as supplemented with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The CLPs Superfund Analytical Methods (SFAM) Statement of Work (SOW) established a flexible framework for delivering high-quality organic and inorganic analytical services to support the EPAs remediation cleanup efforts. The SFAM02.1 SOW is designed to streamline operations, reduce reporting efforts, and align with industrys best laboratory practices. The SFAM02.1 SOW includes: Comprehensive analytical suite of Superfund target analytes, including Volatiles, Semivolatiles, Pesticides, Aroclors, Metals (including Mercury), and Cyanide in multiple matrices (water, soil/sediment, and waste). Harmonized methods to EPA SW-846 and EPAs published methods to align with industry practices. Simplified and flexible Complete Sample Delivery Group (SDG) File (CSF) data package reporting. Reduced and flexible Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD) reporting: Staged Electronic Data Deliverable (SEDD) Stage 2a, or Text file format (XFile) Streamlined MDL Compliance: Full alignment of Method Detection Limit (MDL) studies to 40 CFR Part 136, Appendix B (Revision 2). Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the period for submission of technical questions for the solicitation. Clause LOC EPA-L-15-102 has been updated accordingly. The original deadline for technical questions was seven (7) calendar days after issuance of the solicitation; this period is extended by five (5) additional calendar days and now closes on May 4 at 5:00 p.m. This extension is to provide potential offerors additional time to review the EPAs requirements.
