- The purpose of this modification is to extend the responses due date to April 29, 2026 at 12pm and post responses to the RFIs. RFIs for Solicitation 36C24126Q0428: 6835--Bulk Oxygen Temporary Tank Rental and Tank Installation Bedford VA Medical Center Tank Sizing: Can the Government provide the current or desired primary tank sizes (gallons/liters)� for each building (2, 4, and 78)? The existing data plates do not have tank sizes. Pictures are attached. Usage Breakdown: Is the estimated 36,500 CF annual usage� total for all three locations combined, and can usage be broken down by building if available. Total annual usage of 36,500 CF is Accurate Bldg. 2 Approximately 6,180 annually Bldg. 4 Approximately 11,712 annually Bldg. 78 15,168 annually Existing Systems: Are the current systems being replaced, supplemented, or newly installed� at each location? Vendor to supply installation to support oxygen supply at existing locations. We would like to remove existing tanks and replace them with new tanks. The trailers are needed in the process to ensure constant flow of oxygen to the hospital is available when needed. Installation Scope: Can the Government provide any additional details regarding site conditions, including: Existing tank pad locations: Refer to attached tank location drawing Tie-in points to the building system: Tank pad location has pipe to bldg. currently tied into existing tank Any known installation constraints: None known, vendor will need to determine constraints for their system. Expectation is to have a portable trailer tied into the existing piping system to supply the facility to facility oxygen deliver during replacement of existing tanks. Vendor to verify existing connection points and are responsible for any connections to existing system. Site Visit Follow-Up: Will the Government allow an additional site visit later in the week� for vendors unable to attend on April 20? Vendor can schedule via Contracting officer. Telemetry Requirements: Are there specific system compatibility or integration requirements� for telemetry with existing VA infrastructure? Vendor to provide monitoring of their system that allows VA warning system to be tied into the Vendors monitoring system. What are the conditions of the existing pads? The existing pads currently house bulk oxygen tanks. They are in good condition.
