Notice Type: Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI) Title: Heavy Haul Gooseneck Trailer - Montana Army National Guard NAICS Code: 336212 - Truck Trailer Manufacturing PSC Code: 2330 - Trailers 1. DISCLAIMER This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and market research purposes only in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party's expense. 2. BACKGROUND & REQUIREMENT The Montana Army National Guard (MTARNG) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing a Heavy Haul Gooseneck Trailer. The intended use of this equipment is to support the transport of heavy military vehicles and equipment. 3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Specification Minimum Requirement -Payload Capacity 100,000 lbs -Deck Length Well Deck length of 25 to 26 feet -Deck Width 102 inches -Gooseneck Type Hydraulic detachable gooseneck -Axle Configuration Tri-axle with air ride suspension with a rating of 25,000 lbs per axle -Tie Downs Heavy-duty D-rings spaced with a minimum of 14 total -Braking System 16.5"" x 7"" Air Drum Brakes with automatic slack adjusters 4. REQUESTED INFORMATION Interested vendors who believe they are capable of meeting this requirement are requested to submit a Capability Statement. The response must include the following information: -Company Name, Point of Contact, Address, Telephone Number, and Email. -Identifiers: CAGE Code and Unique Entity ID (UEI). -Business Size for NAICS 336212 -Socioeconomic status (e.g., Small Business, SDVOSB, WOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, or Large Business) under the applicable NAICS code. Capabilities: A brief statement of capability demonstrating the ability to provide a trailer meeting the draft characteristics, including commercial brochures or specification sheets of standard models. Delivery: Estimated lead time for delivery after receipt of order (ARO). 5.
