- 1. Purpose THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The 673d Contracting Squadron (673 CONS), Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can improve security of and access to the RV storage lots on JBER by upgrading the current gate access security system and software. This Sources Sought is pursuant to FAR Part 10 in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to determine if this effort can be competitive and to determine the appropriate set-aside (if any). This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. No funds are available to fund the information solicited. 2. Program Information The Government has a need for an impoved security system and software for it's RV lots on JBER. Additional information on what the governement's needs are can be found in Attachment 1, Salient Characteristics. 4. Required Information The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $25.0M. Interested parties capable of meeting this requirement are requested to respond to this notice and identify their small business status regarding the identified NAICS code. Please provide the following information: Company Name and Address Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and CAGE Code Company business size by NAICS code Small Business Type(s), if applicable Point of Contact for questions and/or clarification (Name, Telephone, Email) A brief capabilities statement demonstrating the ability to perform the services described.
