Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, OH. 43235 Primary POC Claudia Tenaglia, Contract Specialist Alternate POC Herbert Brown, Contract Officer Synopsis: Tactical Vehicle Railbed Improvement. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The Ohio Army National Guard intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to improve existing railbeds at the CJAG in Ravenna, Ohio. These improvements are intended to increase access for tactical vehicles to training secluded training areas. The maneuver trail will have a surface hardened with stone. Some culvert replacement and installation is required as well as other drainage improvements such as ditches and rock check dams. No turn pads are required for this construction project; they have already been installed. The trail must be able to accommodate a tractor trailer hauling heavy, tracked military equipment (tanks, bulldozers, etc.) and support the weight and movement of an M1A1 Abrams battle tank (approximately 80 tons). Work to be accomplished includes all labor, material, equipment, and associated construction services for the following tasks: CLIN 1: Base Bid, TVML Maneuver Trail Improvement � (450 ft.) Improve an existing rail railbed be extending west from Paris-Windham Rd., just south of the North Dig Site for use by tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. This task includes all associated earth work, fence demolition, culvert installation, and site restoration. CLIN 2: TVML Maneuver Trail Improvement � (500 ft) Improve an existing rail bed extending west from Paris-Windham Rd., just south of the North Dig Site for use by tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. The task includes all associated earth work, fence demolition, culvert installation, and site restoration CLIN 3: TVML Maneuver Trail Improvement � (500 ft.) Improve an existing rail bed extending west from Paris-Windham Rd., just south of the North Dig Site for use by tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. The task includes all associated earth work, fence demolition, culvert installation, and site restoration. CLIN 4: TVML Maneuver Trail Improvement � (500 ft.) Improve an existing rail bed extending west from Paris-Windham Rd., just south of the North Dig Site for use by tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. The task includes all associated earth work, fence demolition, culvert installation, and site restoration. CLIN 5: TVML Maneuver Trail Improvement � (500 ft.) Improve an existing rail bed extending west from Paris-Windham Rd., just south of the North Dig Site for use by tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. The task includes all associated earth work, fence demolition, culvert installation, and site restoration. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, with a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 1 May 2026. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form and (3) Experience completing similar projects for government and/or private industry. Please be sure to include evidence of an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), this should include your DUNS Number and/or CAGE Code. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
