- The Department of War awarded contract (47QFHA26C0002) for the Secretary of War (SECWAR) Strategic Thinkers Program (STP) Recompete, which provides a master�s degree-granting program for mid-career military officers and government civilians. This 12-month Master Degree program is established to develop and produce strategic thinkers for assignment to Combatant Commander staffs, the Joint Staff, and Military Services� Headquarters, in support of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War (DASW) requirements. The Strategic Thinkers Program Base Period is being incrementally funded IAW DFARS 252.232-7007 for an initial amount of $10,123.74 under CLIN 0001. The Government plans to award the additional funds necessary to fully fund the base period within the next 5 to 7 business days due to minor system issues. The parties contemplate that the Government will allot funds to this contract in accordance with the following schedule: On execution of contract $10,123.74. On or about 4/28/2026, $148,332.26, additional funding will be provided to CLIN 0001.
