This amendment is to answer the following questions: Could you confirm which are the� shade performance requirements?� Could you send again the� sketch, because� the images are blurry?� Could you send a CAD file of the floor plan?� Bathroom Solid Surface Wall Shelf: What material is exactly? These are some options:� HDPE,� Phenolic� & metal. � Which� Color� is it preference?� Here are the answers to the questions. Sketch, is enclosed as .jpg.� CAD files are enclosed. � Shades are just for C Wing First and Second Floor.� Solid Surface is the following Solid� surface� material� is� a� man-made� composite� material,� primarily� used� for� countertops� and� other� surfaces,� known� for� its� durability,� non-porosity,� and� versatility� in� design. Definition� and� Composition Solid� surface� material,� also� known� as� solid� surface� composite,� is� typically� composed� of� a� blend� of� alumina� trihydrate� (ATH),� acrylic� or� polyester� resins,� and� various� pigments.� This� combination� results� in� a� non-porous,� durable� surface� that� is� easy� to� clean� and� maintain.� The� material� was� first� introduced� by� DuPont� in� 1967� under� the� brand� name� Corian� and� has� since� been� adopted� by� various� manufacturers,� leading� to� a� wide� range� of� branded� products.� Properties NonPorous:� Solid� surface� materials� do� not� absorb� liquids,� making� them� resistant� to� stains� and� bacteria,� which� is� particularly� beneficial� in� kitchens� and� healthcare� settings. Durability:� They� are� resistant� to� scratches� and� can� be� repaired� easily� by� sanding,� maintaining� their� appearance� over� time. Thermoformability:� Solid� surfaces� can� be� heated� and� molded� into� various� shapes,� allowing� for� seamless� designs� and� custom� installations. Variety� of� Designs:� Available� in� numerous� colors� and� patterns,� some� solid� surfaces� mimic� the� appearance� of� natural� stone,� while� others� offer� unique� designs.� Applications Solid� surface� materials� are� widely� used� in� various� applications,� including: Countertops:� Commonly� used� in� kitchens� and� bathrooms� for� their� aesthetic� appeal� and� hygienic� properties. Sinks� and� Bathtubs:� Integrated� sinks� can� be� created� from� the� same� material,� providing� a� seamless� look. Can you please confirm if contractors must be located within the same state as the project location, or if out-of-state contractors are also allowed to participate and perform the work? Answer: If necessary, Out-of-State contractors are also allowed to participate and perform the work. Additionally, please confirm if there are any restrictions, licensing requirements, or compliance issues that could affect out-of-state contractors working on this project? Answer: They should be licensed to work in Massachusetts and the other areas mentioned in the SOW. We would like to confirm whether it is acceptable to submit a quote for� Line Item 0003 Dual Solar Window Shades only, without quoting the mirror and shelving items. Answer: Yes, you can, but our preference is to find a contractor who can provide everything.
