- Description
- Replacement of fabric panels for the full-width doors, common replacement/maintenance parts, and generators/power distribution to power the HVAC for the Aircraft Launch and Maintenance (ALAM) shelter in Africa. A 75' x 195' Large Area Maintenance Shelter (LAMS), Type A, is compliant with MIL-PRF-325048 (MLAMS) (2AUG2016). Each end of the shelter has retractable Tri-lid Doors, allowing for full-width entries when in the open state and protection from environmental elements when in the closed state. This shelter also includes vehicle and personnel side doors, allowing for easy access. LAMS are designed for various uses, including maintenance space, general purpose, general storage, training space, and aircraft hangars. This expeditionary shelter design is completely mobile and relocatable and can be deployed on any ground type. Pre-assembled hardware allows for quick shelter installation. LAMS are Berry Compliant.
