- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Agency: Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office: NCO 7 Carl Vinson VA Medical Center Dublin, Georgia Authority: FAR Part 12 Commercial Products and Services Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR 13.106 1(b)(1) NAICS Code: 333318 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing PSC Code: 6910 Training Aids and Devices Description of Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to VirTra, Inc., Chandler, Arizona, for the purchase of a VirTra Virtual Training Simulator System for VA Police training. The requirement includes delivery, installation, integration, and instructor training. The VirTra system uses proprietary hardware and simulation software designed specifically for law enforcement training environments. A manufacturer s proprietary letter confirms that the system and associated software are proprietary and available only from VirTra, Inc. or authorized distributors. Responses This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested vendors may submit capability statements demonstrating their ability to provide the required proprietary system within five (5) calendar days of this notice.
