Department of the Treasury � Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Market Research Purposes Only 1. Notice Type THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP), REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ), OR INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB). NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This notice is issued in accordance with FAR Part 10 for market research and acquisition planning purposes only. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses to this notice. 2. NAICS Code The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is: 423420 � Office Equipment Merchant Wholesalers The Government welcomes industry feedback regarding the appropriateness of this NAICS code. 3. Requirement Description The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Department of the Treasury, is conducting market research to identify capable small business sources to provide brand name Ricoh InfoPrint 5000 supplies to include but not limited to black ink, ink waste tank and ink collection pad in support of the IRS Corresponding Production Services Branch. The anticipated requirement may result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract The contractor shall provide brand name supplies to ensure continued operation of Ricoh InfoPrint 5000. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached for review. The Government seeks vendors capable of providing brand name supplies with a delivery period of 15-30 days after receipt of order. 4. Capability Statement Requirements Interested vendors shall submit a capability statement (not to exceed 10 pages) including: A. Company Information Organization name UEI number CAGE Code Business size under NAICS Socioeconomic status (SB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) SAM registration confirmation Technical and administrative points of contact B. Technical Capability Questions Are you an authorized Ricoh distributor? Are you an authorized reseller of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplies? What is your standard delivery period? Identify any contract vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule, SINs) supporting this requirement. 5.
