- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance in FAR 5.207 and is prepared for notifying potential Offerors of an upcoming RFP N00174-26-R-1011 which will be a Firm Fixed Price, Small Business Set Aside, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), competed acquisition in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD). This is a new requirement. The NSWC IHD Picatinny Detachment requires the manufacture and assembly of MK 3 MOD 2 Strong Back Lifting beam Ordinance Handling Equipment (OHE), Undefined OHE as well as spare parts, which are required for the movement, transportation and storage of various naval storage containers. This handling equipment supports multiple Navy program containers. The Government intends to award more than one, 5-year IDIQ FFP contract, with subsequent delivery orders to be competed amongst all awardees. The NAICS Code is 332999. Place of performance shall be Contractor Facility. All Offerors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management, www.sam.gov) with completed and up to date representations and certifications for the NAICS code provided in this synopsis. Furthermore, some technical documents/drawings may be export controlled. Therefore, Offerors shall be ITAR certified and have an approved DD Form 2345 in order to receive the TDP for proposal preparation
