Description

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA�s) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Office of Systems Architecture and Engineering (SAE) will host an online Commercial Data Program (CDP) Industry Day 1-2:30pm Eastern, April 9, 2026. Leaders from SAE and CDP will provide a status update to the community on future plans for the program. Presenters will offer information on CDP objectives to support NOAA�s observational requirements, including data pilot projects for microwave soundings and wildfire imagery, and expanding operational data purchases (RO, ocean surface winds, and microwave). This will be a virtual event. Please be advised that the presentation slides from Industry Day will be posted once the event has concluded.
