Description
The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring services for a one-time spares buy of Blade Set, Turbine, A for the F100-229 Aircraft Engine. 1. Estimated issue date for Solicitation: 19 March 2026 Estimated closing/response date for Solicitation: 18 April 2026 2. Request for Quote (RFQ) Number: FA8121-26-Q-0001 3. PR Number(s): FD2030-26-00181 4. Nomenclature/Noun: Blade Set, Turbine, A 5. Service/Spare/Repair/Overhaul: Spare 6. Description/Dimension/Material: Issued as a matched set of 2 blades, each blade of the set is installed on the 2nd stage turbine disk 180 degrees apart. 36 pairs of blades are installed on the disk. When the disk rotates during engine operation, the blades and their corresponding stationary vanes cause compression of hot exhaust gas to provide thrust and force to the compressor. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price 16. FMS: No 17. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. 18. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
