- 1.0 DISCLAIMER This Request for Information (RFI) is issued in accordance with FAR 10.001 to determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified sources. Please respond to the questions in section 3.0. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 800 employees. The FAR Provision found at 52.204-7(b)(1) requires that all offerors obtain a UEI to register in SAM. You may access the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. This RFI is part of a continuous process for obtaining the latest information on the commercial status of the industry with respect to their current and near-term abilities. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for, or award, a competitive contract. It is emphasized that this is a notice solely for planning and informational purposes. 2.0 DESCRIPTION OF ANTICIPATED NEED VHAWNYHS Buffalo Surgical Department requires a procurement of CABG Suture Packs designed for open heart cardiac surgeries performed in the operating room. The CABG Suture Packs are used for Cardiac surgeries only and help to reduce time and inventory of individual sutures required to keep on hand. Due to the CABG Suture Packs being service specific, we maintain inventory and we purchase when the stock becomes low. We intend to purchase three (3) cases.
