Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Defense Healthcare Management Systems Contracting Division (DHMS-CD), in support of Program Executive Office (PEO) Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS), Joint Operational Medicine Information System (JOMIS) Program Office (PMO), is seeking potential sources with effective capabilities to provide the capability to deploy an Operational Medicine (OpMed) Tele-Radiology/Medicine capability with user training and support services, that provides electronic transmission of radiological images from one location to another throughout the range of military operations (ROMO). The primary mission of the Military Health System (MHS) is to ensure the Nation continuously has a healthy fighting force and the ability to support ROMO. OpMed services include, but are not limited to, preventive, routine, emergency, surgical, en-route care, and diagnostic care. OpMed systems provide Commanders and medical professionals with integrated, timely, and accurate information to make critical Command and Control and medical decisions. In pursuit of this objective, Department of Defense (DOD) medical providers in operational environments (defined as land, sea, and air) require the capability to receive, capture, store, view, share, annotate, and archive imaging studies and medically related images (e.g., scanned paper records) in all common modalities. See attached document for more information.
