- Amendment 1: The due date for quotes has been extended to Wednesday, January 14, 2026 Amendment 2: Upload of Questions & Answers, and Photos. Two, 3-ton heat pump packaged systems are needed at Bears Bluff NFH to provide heat and cooling for the stations two quarters buildings (one unit/building). The quarters provide living arrangements on site for staff and their families. The current heat pump systems providing HAVC services for the quarters are old and reaching the end of their functional life. Contractor shall provide permanent installation of two new 3-ton 15 SEER heat pump packaged units with 8KW electric heat strips in the two quarters buildings (one unit/building) at Bears Bluff. Site Visit: Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST Location: USFWS, Bears Bluff National Fish Hatchery, 7030 Bears Bluff Rd, Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, 29487 POC: James Henne, 843-559-2315, james_henne@fws.gov , no later than 24 hours prior to the site visit if planning to attend.
