- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR GLOBE TRAILER REPAIR PARTS THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SEEKING INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY SEEKING RESPONSES IN ORDER TO DETERMINE PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACQUISITION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR ULTIMATELY AWARD A CONTRACT, NOR DOES IT RESTRICT THE GOVERNMENT TO A PARTICULAR ACQUISITION APPROACH OR OTHERWISE REIMBURSE RESPONDENTS FOR ANY COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION OF A RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. The Contractor will provide new repair parts as specified in Salient Characteristics, to include direct delivery to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Salient Characteristics: Parts requested must match/fit to vehicle's make, model, and VIN: Vehicle Manufacturer: Globe Trailers Vehicle Model: GTFS402-48-38 VIN: 1G9FS480GB336060 Required parts include: CRANK HANDLE CROSS SHAFT SUSPENSION LEAF SPRINGS ZKIT SUSPENSION HARDWARE KIT HANGER FRONT HANGER MIDDLE HANGER REAR SUSPENSION PARTS ASSEMBLY (INCLUDING SLACKS) Standard warranty included. The anticipated NAICS Code is 336390, Other Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturing. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals or Quotes (RFP or RFQ) or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. Responses to this sources sought are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice.
