NOTICE TYPE: Sources Sought Notice Number ID: N42158-26-SIMACQ-NNSY-1200-0002 Title: GRADE D AIR COMPRESSOR AND REGENERATIVE AIR DRYER Date: Jan. 02, 2026 PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and subpart 13.5 using Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Services, for the rental of a Grade D Air Compressor and Regenerative Air Dryer. This effort is to identify qualified sources capable of providing the equipment and services required by the attached Statement of Work (SOW). All interested parties are encouraged to respond. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532490: Other commercial and industrial machinery and equipment and leasing. The Government anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the required services. The Government is interested in receiving responses from all qualified sources capable of providing the services. Large and small companies that have experience with this service are encouraged to respond to this notice by 06 JAN 2026 at 12:00 PM EST. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. The following key information is requested: 1. Company name, address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, point of contact (name, phone number, and e-mail). If your company is a small business, please identify the socioeconomic status. 2. Explanation of the company's ability to perform 100% of the efforts required. This statement shall not reiterate or duplicate the language set forth in this notice or language from the attached DRAFT PWS. Your CAPABILITIES STATEMENT shall demonstrate your company�s ability to perform these critical tasks in their entirety.
