- Description
- The vendor shall provide laboratory services to the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) for analyzing blood and urine samples as provided by the National Guard. The Government will perform the collection of all samples. The vendor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished, to perform for Laboratory services for the NCNG as defined within this PWS. Questions & Answers: Q: Is this a new requirement? If not, who is the incumbent? A: There is an incumbent contractor for the current contract. Contract# W9124221A0006. Ktr: Quest Diagnostics, Inc. Q: What is the last day to submit questions? A: 29 Dec 25 Q: Could you provide an estimate of annual volume for the tests listed in Medical Lab Servicers Attachment 1? A: We are estimating BPA Calls in the ammount of $40K-$80K per year. These figures cannot be guaranteed and greatly depend upon changes in mission. Q: Can we add columns to Attachment 1 for vendor�s test code and vendor�s test description? A: Yes Q: Requesting the average number of tests per year for each test listed in Attachment 1: Bid Schedule? A: Number of tests for the last three years are as followed...2025-627 / 2024-741 / 2023-650. The most requested tests are Lipid Panel (both Standard and Glucose), Alcohol-Ethyl, Sickle Cell screening, and Glucose .500/.7600. A breakdown by test was unavailable. Q: The Performance Work Statement references both blood and urine testing services. Our company XXXXXXXXXXXXXX, specializes exclusively in urine-based laboratory testing and does not perform blood testing. Could you please clarify whether the Government will consider proposals offering urine testing services only, or partial awards / BPAs where urine testing is separated from blood testing requirements? A: If a company is unable to fulfill the full scope of the PWS, the technical review will be annotated and taken into consideration accordingly. Reference synopsitation 52.212-2 Evaluation (Addendum)
