Companies must have a current Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification status that meets or exceeds the requirements in future solicitation or contract. ** Reference Notice ID FA8507_Azimuth_Gearbox The United States Government is conducting market research in order to refine its requirements for the qualification and production of an Azimuth Gearbox Assembly (AGA) suitable to control the positioning of 27 meter dish radar. The level of security clearance an amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined, however, the Contractor Should anticipate working with teams consisting of military, civilian, and national partners, and contract personnel from various services and agencies. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or awards. The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. At this time, the Government is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsoclited proposals. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3: 1. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research or otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts provided in Subection 31.205-18, Bid and Proposal Costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. 2. Although ""proposal"" and ""offeror"" may be used in this Request For Information, your response will be treated as informaiton only. It shall not be used as a proposal. 3. This Request for Information is issued for the purpose of market research in order for the USG to better refine its requirement. INSTRUCTIONS: Interested vendors are encouraged to review the Government's DRAFT Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirements, Instructions to Offerors, and Evaluation Factors for Award. Industry feedback are invaluable to ensuring the clarity, accurance, and feasibility of these documents. Documents For Review: Please review the following documents, which are attached to posting: Draft Statement of Work (SOW) - Defines the specific tasks, deliverables, and performance standards required for this project. Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) - Outlines the required data deliverables, their format, frequency, and recipient. Section L - Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors - [: Details the instructions for preparing and submitting proposals, including any specific conditions and notices. Section M - Evaluation Factors for Award - Outlines the criteria that will be used to evaluate proposals and determine the successful offeror. The USG is seeking Industry feedback to: Ensure the SOW is clear, concise, and technically achievable. Validate the CDRLs are appropriate, necessary, and feasible to produce. Identify any potential ambiguities or discrepancies in Sections L&M. Gather insights on potential risks, challenges, and opportunities related to this project. Ultimately, improve the quality and effectiveness of the final solicitation. Specific Areas of Interest: While we welcome any and all feedback, we are particularly interested in your perspective on the following: Technical Feasibility: Are the technical requirements outlined in the SOW achievable with current technology and resources? Clarity and Completeness: Are the requirements in the SOW and CDRLs clearly defined and free from ambiguity? Are there any missing or redundant requirements? Cost and Schedule: Based on your expertise, do you anticipate any significant cost drivers or schedule challenges related to these requirements? Responsiveness to Sections L & M: Do you foresee any difficulties in preparing a responsive proposal that fully addresses the requirements outlined in Sections L and M? Potential Innovations: Are there any innovative approaches or technologies that could be considered to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of this project?
