- DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) , Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, is conducting market research to identity Small Businesses (including SDVOSB/VOSB, WOSB,8 (a), and HUBZone) capable of performing Triennial Electrical Power Distribution System Maintenance, Inspection, and Testing in accordance with: NETA METS (Maintenance Testing Specifications) NFPA 70, 70E VA Directive 1028 Please see attached Statement of work for details. The sources sought does not guarantee the issuance of an RFQ. If you have the availability to provide the requirements, please respond to the sources sought with a capabilities statement. The sources sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The VA is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to the sources sought; all costs associated with responding to the sources sought will be solely at the interested vendor s expense. Not responding to the sources sought does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Please note that requirements defined to date may change before a final solicitation is released. The intent is to determine the availability of capable sources to support a potential 100% Small Business Set-Aside or SDVOSB Set-Aside. VA reserves the right not to respond to any or all emails or materials submitted. 2.
