- This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source to Defense Maritime Solutions under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 811310. Size standard is $13 Million. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Defense Maritime Solutions for the replacement of one forward and one aft main shaft assembly. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. This notice of intent is not a request for quote/proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Questions concerning this notice shall be directed via email to Devlin Horton at devlin.m.horton.civ@us.navy.mil Responses must be no later than the time and date noted above.
