- Page 1 of 7 Page 8 of 8 Page 1 of RFP- 36C26225R0062 Questions Confirming that the Project Manager does not need to be a LCSW/LMFT, just master's level, even though that position supervises LCSW level Supervisors.� Answer: Please see section 24.2.1 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Contract Program Manager. Per PWS section 24.2.1, The PM shall have a bachelor s degree, preferably with a human service or social service degree, however, alternate field can be considered. The PM shall have at least one (1) year of experience providing oversight of a residential homeless facility or relevant experience. Please confirm the current tents located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd. shall be used for the subject project.� Answer: Yes. Per Section 5 of PWS: Place of Performance: Veterans shall be provided services as described in this PWS within SPA 5 catchment area, specifically on the WLA Campus located at 11303 Pershing Ave. Bldg. 338 tents A & B Los Angeles, CA 90025. Tent A shall have 32 sleeping quarters. Tent B shall have 32 sleeping quarters. Please confirm the contract will not be required to perform any capital improvements to the existing facilities, tents, and restroom facilities.� Answer: Please reference Section 6. Government Furnished Propoerty of the PWS, Section 12 Facilities Requirements and Section 14. Janitorial & Landscape Services. There are no requirements for capital improvements, ie: Vendor will not be required to add structures or enhance the value of the sprung structures/tents, however, the Vendor is required to maintain the property in good standing while in use. They will be required to fix broken items, maintain cleanliness and returning the site as received. How much real estate space will be provided to install trailers to support the project. For example, mobile food and laundry service trailers.� ANSWER: There is no real estate space available to install additional trailers. The site is equipped with two (2) hygiene trailers which include a laundry facility in each. Each laundry facility can hold three (3) large stackable washer/ dryer units and one (1) standalone washer/dryer unit. Mobile food Vendor is possible, but it could not be stationed on grounds permanently. Can offerors use existing resources on the West LA Campus to meet the requirements. For example, food services, safe room lodging, laundry services.� ANSWER: Reference Section 11.2 Subsistence 11.2.4, Section 12.3 Facilities Requirements and Section 13 Safe Room The Contractor shall be responsible for all mentioned. Within the resident space, there are cubicles specific for safe room lodging. The site is equipped with two (2) hygiene trailers which include a laundry facility in each. Each laundry facility can hold three (3) large stackable washer/ dryer units and one (1) standalone washer/dryer unit. Is there an existing area designed for meals?� ANSWER: There is an outdoor heated, covered and lite patio. Both tents have a communal (none sleeping quarters) area to use for eating when cold or raining outside. Will the contractor's medical staff use existing VA Medical records?� ANSWER: Please see Staffing Requirements stated in section 24.1. There are no required medical staff for this requirement. 8.� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � What are the VA's requirements for staff to be cleared to work on the project?� ANSWER: See sections 24 and 25 for details and required staff training. What are the clearance requirements for staff to access the West LA Campus?� ANSWER: Please see section 24.2 paragraph 5 for additional details. A member of our team will be on the West LA Campus next week. Who can we work with to coordinate a site visit?� ANSWER: No site visits can be done at this time. Please see below pictures for additional reference. Will the VA or City provide all utilities for additional trailers, i.e. Food Production, Laundry Trailer?� ANSWER: No the VA nor the city will provide utilities for additional trailers, ie Food. Additional trailers will not be allowed. There are, however, as stated above, laundry facilities included/ already installed on-site. Reference Section 6 Government Furnished Property. What is the size of the area to be landscaped?� ANSWER: Unknown, however, per Section 14 Janitorial & Landscape Services of the PWS, it is expected the interior compound consisting of the two tents aka sprung structures, two (2) hygiene trailers, two (2) admin trailers and 30-feet perimeter surrounding the compound is maintained for weeds, grass by the contractor. Do the existing hygiene trailers include toilets, urinals, and showers?� ANSWER: Per Section 6 Government Furnished Property of the PWS: Yes, all. Also, additionally sinks, water fountain station, and laundry facilities in each.
