- Description
- Please join us Thursday October 16, 2025, for an Industry Day/Pre-solicitation Conference hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District for the Sabre Fire Station Project, and the Staging/Marshalling Area Project both at Fort Campbell, KY. NOTE: These are 2 separate projects, that will be solicited separately, but are being presented together during the industry day. The Government is planning to issue a single Design-Build contract solicitation (for each project). The Government intends to issue both of these projects under a design-build to budget strategy. This procurement method will be explained further during the event. Project 1: Sabre Fire Station at Fort Cambell, KY. Construct a required non-standard one-company satellite fire station to serve the Sabre Airfield. The fire station will contain a kitchen and dining area, sleeping areas, storage area, training room, laundry, physical training room, latrines and apparatus room. The supporting facilities include electrical, heating and air conditioning (approximately 15 tons), basic landscaping and site development, information systems, security/scan system for AT/FP, and an area for firetruck basic maintenance and cleaning. Access for the handicapped will be provided. The Standard Army Design establishes self-sufficient ARFF Satellite Fire Stations and determines space requirements to support the Apparatus Bay. These elements are designed in every satellite fire station: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Gear Storage, Hose Storage, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Maintenance Room, SCBA Compressor Room, Protective Clothing Laundry, Equipment Wash/Disinfection area, Work Room/Equipment Maintenance space, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Equipment Storage, and Fire Extinguisher Inspection Maintenance and Storage or Clean-Up Room or PPE Gear Storage Room. The estimated cost range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. NAICS code is 236220. Project 2: Marshall Staging Center at Fort Cambell, KY Construct a 8,000 SF Readiness Building with 400x300 SF Deployment Readiness Line to support Fort Campbell's Power Projection Platform. The total area will be paved with concrete, include fencing and lighting, and have Readiness Lines clearly identified. The paved area will be utilized to store vehicles and equipment that have been pre-inspected to meet Air Force certification that will be prepped and ready for aircraft loading on a moment's notice. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. The estimated cost range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. NAICS code is 236220. ***** This is not a Request for Proposal, an Invitation to Bid, or a Request for Quotation.
