Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, hereby announces its intent to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Delivery Order to Hill-Rom Company Inc. This order will be awarded in accordance with FAR 8.405-6. The purpose of this Delivery Order is to meet the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center s need for the rental of specialized Hill-Rom hospital beds. NAICS Code: 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard: 1,000 Employees) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may express their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by August 18, 2025, 10:00 p.m. EST. The decision not to compete this requirement is at the Government s sole discretion, and will be based on the responses to this notice. Information received will solely be used to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 19, will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Only written responses will be considered, and all submissions from responsible sources will be thoroughly reviewed. Based on an analysis of the responses to this notice, the Government will decide if a solicitation will be issued. Any potential contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Additionally, the prospective contractor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller for the Department of Veterans Affairs for the proposed equipment/system, ensuring that the OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the equipment/system must comply with OEM terms and conditions. Interested parties should submit information via email only, using ""Response to Intent to Sole Source to Hill-Rom Company, Inc. for Specialized Hospital Beds"" in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. Interested parties must provide clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to meet these requirements to Mitchael Purdom via email at� mitchael.purdom@va.gov. The capability documentation should include detailed information and a technical background that describes the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience to support this requirement.
