Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. It is neither a solicitation nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for solicitation will not receive a response. The Government will not pay nor reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The source s sought notice is for market research purposes to make the appropriate acquisition decision and gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 335910, Battery Manufacturing, size standard of 1,250 employees. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6140 batteries, rechargeable. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC) is seeking to identify interested contractors who can manufacture or provide the required uninterruptible power supplies with remote services to provide 1.3KWH per day for 3 days (40 to 96 hours) that can provide back up for medication and Vaccine refrigerators for 120/240 Voltage. a. Batteries must be standing alone unit and ready to plug and play. b. Batteries must not require vendor or license contractor installation and must be able to be relocated by facility management. c. Battery unit must fit within 1 to 1.5 square foot footprint, can be against the wall and does not require ventilation. d. Battery unit must be less than 20 inches wide, no larger than 12 inches deep. e. Battery unit must not be taller than 63 inches and weight must not exceed 500lbs. f. Battery unit must have capabilities to provide alerts if a power outage occurs. g. Battery unit must have a low battery audible alarm alert. h. Battery unit must have remote monitoring capabilities. i. After a power outage occurs, power must transfer to the battery unit within 30 seconds or less. The capability statement shall be limited to no more than five pages and must clearly state the following:� Capability in industry to manufacture or provide the required uninterruptible power supplies.� Offerors who cannot provide historical information for their company regarding the requirements outlined above or similar scope and scale should provide corresponding information to show how the company would meet OVAMC requirements.� This information should provide a strong level of confidence to the Government that an offeror would meet or exceed the performance requirements to provide all the requirements to provide the required equipment to replace our existing Vertical Turbine Pumps. In addition, provide and answer the following: Company name, address, point(s) of contact, title, telephone number, fax number, email address, cage code, and SAM UEI number. Company s business size, to include number of employees; Company s socioeconomic status If SDVOSB/VOSB is planning to provide a response they need to demonstrate the ability to provide a product manufactured by a small business to be considered capable. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.� This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposal (RFQ); submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.� To be eligible for award, prospective must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Interest site, www.sam.gov.
