Description
***THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION*** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is seeking sources for a supply requirement entitled: ""Lower Monumental Lock and Dam Powerhouse Entry Doors"" for award of a base contract. This is scheduled to be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Supply Contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is anticipated to be 332321 and the associated small business size standard for number of employees is 750. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement. Please see the attached Technical Specifications with attachments and the following questions. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: (1) Can your company provide the products required in the specs? Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. (2) Does your company offer these products commercially? (3) Can your company provide a panic bar for these doors? (4) If the door doesn't have a panic bar, can the door be pulled or pushed open in the event of a power failure? (5) Can the door be locked with a key in the event of a power failure? (6) Can your company meet the badge reader requirements outlined in the specs? Will the actuator work with an external badge reader? (7) Please provide feedback on the attached Technical Specifications. Does your firm have any questions or concerns that you would like to share with the Government? The Technical Specifications document is subject to change.
