NSN: 4940-017075264 Nomenclature: Booth, Spraying DLA Land & Maritime is considering a procurement of NSN 4940-017075264 under a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Please read the information below and complete the attached questionnaire if you are interested in providing this item under a solicitation over the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract only for materiel from the approved source(s) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334419 with a business size of 750 employees. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation, obligation, or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. No solicitation exists at this time. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified businesses that express interest in executing this potential contract. The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for, any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. Procurement Item Description Text: BOOTH, SPRAYING RA001: THIS DOCUMENT INCORPORATES TECHNICAL AND/OR QUALITY REQUIREMENTS (IDENTIFIED BY AN 'R' OR AN 'I' NUMBER) SET FORTH IN FULL TEXT IN THE DLA MASTER LIST OF TECHNICAL AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS FOUND ON THE WEB AT: http://www.dla.mil/HQ/Acquisition/Offers/eProcurement.aspx FOR SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS, THE REVISION OF THE MASTER IN EFFECT ON THE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE OR THE AWARD DATE CONTROLS. PORTABLE FLUORESCENT LAMPS AND PORTABLE INSTRUMENTS CONTAINING MERCURY SHALL BE SHOCK PROOF AND CONTAIN A SECOND BOUNDARY OF CONTAINMENT OF THE MERCURY OR MERCURY COMPOUND. (IAW NAVSEA 5100-003D). All DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements take precedence over ASTM D3951. Mark and label all packaging and packing in accordance with MIL-STD-129. The Unit of Issue (U/I) and Quantity per Unit Pack (QUP) will be as specified in the contract/purchase order.
