Description
** THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL THE REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS POSTED. ** The Air Force and 76 AMXG intends to solicit a request the purchase of Explosion Proof Electric HEPA Vacuums and accessories meeting the following specifications: 1. Two Models of Explosion Proof Electric HEPA vacuum 1.1. Four (4) each for Model 1. Model 1 shall have the following specifications: 1.1.1. Shall be third party certified Explosion Proof for operation in Class 1 Division 1 Group D environments 1.1.2. Shall operate on 460 volt 60 hertz, 3 phase alternating current power and be compatible with explosion proof connector. All vacuum models shall have Appleton ACP3034BC plugs on the electrical supply cords. 1.1.3. Shall have vacuum provided by a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled electric motor with no less than 1.8 horsepower and no more than 2.2 horsepower 1.1.4. Shall be able to generate a vacuum flow rate no less than 150 cubic feet of air per minute and no more than 165 cubic feet of air per minute 1.1.5. Shall be capable of generating a vacuum no less than 128 inches of water and no greater than 132 inches of water 1.1.6. Shall be equipped with a vacuum relief valve that opens at a vacuum no less than 78 inches of water and no more than 82 inches of water 1.1.7. Shall not produce more than 74 decibels of noise 1.1.8. Shall be mounted on a wheeled cart with a detachable tank 1.1.9. Shall be equipped with a manual filter shaker 1.1.10. Shall have a dust recovery tank with a volume no less than 14 gallons and no more than 15 gallons 1.1.11. Shall have a length no less than 38 inches and no more than 42 inches 1.1.12. Shall have a width no less than 22 inches and no more than 26 inches 1.1.13. Shall have a height of no less than 45 inches and no more than 49 inches 1.1.14. Shall have a weight no more than 260 lb 1.1.15. Shall have a power cord with a minimum length of 100 feet 1.2. Four (4) each for Model 2. Model 2 shall have the following specifications: 1.2.1. Shall be third party certified Explosion Proof for operation in Class 1 Division 1 Group D environments 1.2.2. Shall operate on 460 volt 60 hertz, 3 phase alternating current power and be compatible with explosion proof connector. All vacuum models shall have Appleton ACP3034BC plugs on the electrical supply cords. 1.2.3. Shall have vacuum provided by a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled electric motor with no less than 4.8 horsepower and no more than 5.2 horsepower 1.2.4. Shall be able to generate a vacuum flow rate no less than 220 cubic feet of air per minute and no more than 230 cubic feet of air per minute 1.2.5. Shall be capable of generating a vacuum no less than 150 inches of water and no greater than 160 inches of water 1.2.6. Shall be equipped with a vacuum relief valve that opens at a vacuum no less than 98 inches of water and no more than 102 inches of water 1.2.7. Shall not produce more than 74 decibels of noise 1.2.8. Shall be mounted on a wheeled cart with a detachable tank 1.2.9. Shall be equipped with a manual filter shaker 1.2.10. Shall have a dust recovery tank with a volume no less than 14 gallons and no more than 15 gallons 1.2.11. Shall have a length no less than 38 inches and no more than 42 inches 1.2.12. Shall have a width no less than 22 inches and no more than 26 inches 1.2.13. Shall have a height of no less than 45 inches and no more than 49 inches 1.2.14. Shall have a weight no more than 260 lb 2. Eight (8) (4 for model 1 & 4 for model 2) Aluminum or Stainless Hose-to-Vacuum (Wye) Connection 2.1. Shall allow multiple 1.5� vacuum hoses to connect to the primary suction inlet of the vacuum 2.2. Shall have a minimum of two 1.5� outside diameter male hose barb outlets 2.3. Shall be statically conductive 2.4. Shall have a securely attached isolation system (such as spring-loaded flaps, tethered plugs, etc.) for covering inactive hose barb outlets that facilitate the use of as few as one vacuum hose. 3. Eight (8) (4 for model 1 & 4 for model 2) Suction /Air Hose � 50� Length 3.1. Air hose shall be comprised of 50� of 3/8� diameter air hose rated for use with compressed air at 100 psi 3.2. Suction hose shall be comprised of 45� of 1.5� diameter crush-resistant vacuum hose and 5� of 1.0� diameter crush-resistant vacuum hose 3.3. Shall be fitted with one 1.5� pressure fit female coupling on the end of the 1.5� diameter portion of the suction hose 3.4. Shall be fitted with one 1.0� pressure fit female coupling on the end of the 1.0� diameter portion of the suction hose 3.5. Suction hose shall be statically conductive 3.6. Air hose and suction hose shall be secured to each other throughout the length of the combined hose. 3.7. Air hose and suction hoses shall have sufficient separation at both the 1.5� diameter end and the 1.0� diameter end to facilitate air and vacuum connections to the vacuum, sander, and facility compressed air hose 4. Eight (8) (4 for model 1 & 4 for model 2) Suction/Air Hose � 20� Length 4.1. Air hose shall be comprised of 20� of 3/8� diameter air hose rated for use with compressed air at 100 psi 4.2. Suction hose shall be comprised of 15� of 1.5� diameter crush-resistant vacuum hose and 5� of 1.0� diameter crush-resistant vacuum hose 4.3. Shall be fitted with one 1.5� pressure fit female coupling on the end of the 1.5� diameter portion of the suction hose 4.4. Shall be fitted with one 1.0� pressure fit female coupling on the end of the 1.0� diameter portion of the suction hose 4.5. Suction hose shall be statically conductive 4.6. Air hose and suction hose shall be secured to each other throughout the length of the combined hose. 4.7. Air hose and suction hoses shall have sufficient separation at both the 1.5� diameter end and the 1.0� diameter end to facilitate air and vacuum connections to the vacuum, sander, and facility compressed air hose 5. Sixteen (16) (8 for model 1 & 8 for model 2) Stainless Steel Wye Connector 5.1. Shall have three pressure fit connections of 1.5� outside diameter each 5.2. Shall be constructed from stainless steel 5.3. Shall have a securely attached (by means of a cable or chain) plug that may be inserted into one of the two 1.5� outside diameter male hose barb outlets to facilitate use of only one vacuum hose 6. Three (3) printed copies of manuals for all equipment 7. Electronic copies of manuals for all equipment 8. Spare parts list for common consumables 9. Virtual (Microsoft TEAMs) or In-person training (performed on-site at Tinker AFB) on operation of vacuums for up to 60 personnel. Training shall cover basic operations and changing of consumables for each model of vacuum. 10. Delivery shall be on or before 31 August 2025. Staggard shipments are approved. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. This will be 100% small business set-aside.
